In the early 1990s, people started writing newsletters, and they became popular. Today, individuals write newsletters about their interests or fields, and many professionals, freelancers, and businesses make good money from them.

Most people don't know that we can make money by writing newsletters. Those who do know often don't want more competition in their area. However, I don't care about that.

I’ll explain and show you how you can make money by writing newsletter using AI for free.

I use AI to write my newsletters in three different niche and post it on the beehiiv.

How are we getting paid by writing newsletters? what’s the process?

There are platforms where you can setup your newsletter and start posting it in few mins.

Let’s understand how it works...

You write a newsletter and clicking on “Publish” button and your newsletter sent to your subscribers and they received it via email.

The platform i used gives ads to post them in your newsletter, its up to you that you want to post that ad in your newsletter or not.

on an average you get 20 ads in a month if you’re consistent. you can post 1 ad per newsletter.

and you get paid when someone clicks on your ad in the newsletter, you get min 1$ and max 4$ per click on an average.

if someone clicked on the ad while reading you newsletter via email you get paid 1$ for that one click.

Calculation for one month earning :

for example you get 40 clicks on an average on every newsletter post.

Average no of click per newsletter = 40

Average earning per click = 1.5$

Per newsletter earning = 40 x 1.5$ = 60$

No of ads posted = 20

Total earned in a month = No of ads posted x Per newsletter earning
= 20 x 60$ = 1200$

Total earned from single account = 1200$

This earning is based on 1$/click but this is minimum you get for some ads you get paid 2$ or 3$ that’s why it can be more than that but not less.

so this is how you can earn min 1 lakh/month in starting and scale it to 3 to 5 lakh/month or more.

There is also a another way of earning by using that you can 2X your earning, that’ll explain later.

How to setup your account on beehiiv?

Create your account on a free trial plan using this link.

Now setup your publication to write newsletter.

Go Settings>General info tab to edit publication.

You need 6 things to setup the publication :

1. Select a niche in which field or interest you want to write, you can write on AI, fitness, finance, marketing and so many others.

2. Publication name. - basically your newsletter name for example you select AI niche then the name can be “AI Insights”.

use AI to save time, ask ChatGPT to suggest me 20 names for [your niche-AI] newsletter then you can use any one you like.

3. Publication description - ask ChatGPT to write a one line description for [your niche] newsletter.

4. Publication logo - In seconds you can generate a logo for your newsletter for free using gemini AI.

go to Gemini and write this prompt “generate a logo for the ai niche newsletter with the name ‘AI Insiders’ ”. replace ai with your niche

5. Default Thumbnail preview - use any free AI text to image generator, first ask chatGPT to write a prompt for you to generate a thumbnail for [your niche] newsletter with your [publication name].
then use this prompt to generate a thumbnail in the ai tool.

6. Publication Tags - These tags defines your niche that means based on the tags you select decides what type of ads they give you.

so select tags accordinglly.

and your publication setup successfully, now you can post newsletters.

How to setup your newsletter template, so you can use same template to post newsletter everyday?

Template is the way or a style to structure your newsletter and you can save it.

next time you’ll write newsletter post so don’t have to structure or add styles to it.

you just have to change the content.

How to write a newsletter post using AI in minutes and post?

First find a topic of your niche to write a newsletter, for example we have selected AI niche.

search on google latest ai news, then you will find latest blogs and articles with latest news. you will get it on a daily basis.

you can also follow other newsletter in your niche to take the idea of the latest topics.

Now how to write it using AI?

Copy and paste this prompt on the ChatGpt to write your newsletter.
prompt - “Act as a expert newsletter writer in [your niche], I am giving you a blog or article content with title and body. you have to write a newsletter with the given content by rewriting it in the given format.
Format :
1. first give the title by rewriting the blog title.
2. Then from the content body write me a content using points, so basically i need minimum of three points with heading and its content.
3. conclusion of the post.
please remember you have to rewrite the content in the given format.
Article title : [copy and paste the title of the blog or article post]
Article body : [copy and paste the whole content from the article page]
go ahead.”

How to generate a thumbnail for your newsletter post using AI?

1. copy and paste this prompt in ChatGpt to write a prompt for generating a thumbnail, “I need a thumbnail for my AI niche newsletter post with this title ‘ [your newsletter title]’. i will use text to image generator to generate this so please write a prompt for the same.”

2. Now copy and paste the prompt you got from the ChatGpt in first step in any free text to image AI generator to get the thumbnail.

Great congratulations, you have write your first newsletter 🥳 .

How to post a newsletter in the beehiiv finally?

1. use same template if you have created, or post it without a template. don’t worry its just the start.

2. go to the “Posts” tab from the left sidebar then click on the down icon just next to the start writing button text to access the used template.

3. now your template is open, so now you can copy and post the newsletter you generate in ChatGpt.

4. upload a thumbnail you have generated for the post.

5. click next button on the top right and then finally click “Publish” button at the last step and you first newsletter posted 😀.

The most important part....

Rule to get ads or monetize most important?

You should be on a paid scale plan because only paid plan user have access to the Ad network.
meaning only users who are on a paid/scale plan will get the ads to post in their newsletter and earn money.

Create you stripe express account from beehiiv

1. Go to “settings>payment accounts” tab.

2. There you will see a button to create your own stripe express account to take all the payments.

3. while creating the stripe account you will add your bank details.

Your monthly earnings will be credited in the beehiiv wallet.

then you can withdraw them anytime and it will be credited into stripe account.

And from stripe its directly credited into your bank account.

If you want to scale you can promote your newsletter on twitter, Instagram and other social media to get subscribers who are interested in your niche.

and people automatically tend to click on something when they find something relatable to them, so it works.

Once everything is set up, you'll usually receive your first ad within 3 to 5 days.
